Just wanted to say that you guys and gals are doing a fab job - this year is the 30th year (in a row) I will have been
to PFA - Wouldn't miss it for the world -you can keep Oshkosh/Sun for Fun etc there's only one PFA Rally.
Come rain or storm I'm aiming for 50 consecutive.
Best Wishes and here's hoping for some reasonable weather.
Derek
Dear Sir,
I am still hoping to visit Kemble this year
But coming from Belgium the weather seems to be against me
Any chance that in the near future a web cam showing what the sky is like at Kemble would a big help or specific
info as to what height are the clouds
To see all the photos one day late is good
.but for somebody who is trying to get there
The more info available to the pilot the better his/her chances are of getting there after having had as much info
as possible
Best Regards

Hello
Great effort on all your parts for this site....just one question....
What do the numbers before the arrival/departure times mean? Dates?
Surely should be 1st 2nd or 3rd???

Hi There,
Thanks for your efforts to supply a list of those present over the weekend, well done to all.
I hope to email you my own list as soon as I can get it key'd in.
In you list of arrival/departures you show the following for example :
G-BGBE DR1050 5/1330 6/1454
what does the 5 stand for or the 6, after the forward slash must be the time but before that cannot be the date !?
Most of the entries have something similar.
Regards
Shimon
sorry trying to look at the listing understand the time part what is the number at the front, ie;7??/1605 thought it would be the date..thanks dave
I was not responsible for supplying the arrivals list. It was provided for me already prepared and I have to admit
that, due to time constraints at the event, I just posted it as given to me. Having looked at it, it appears that it
counts the days from first arrivals (probably Monday), but I agree that is not made clear. I'll pass your comments
to Dave Wise (who prepared the listings) so that any problems might be sorted for next year.
Bob
UPDATE - The problem has now been sorted out. Listings now include date.
Dear Sirs
Having travelled nearly 100 miles to Kemble yesterday with my family, I was amazed when asked for £60 to gain
entrance of which we did not have and we subsequently did not gain entrance.
Having seen no admittance price on any of the advertising boards, I consider it a very poor effort indeed not to
inform the 'General Public' about the cost until you get to the gate!!
I also would like to make the comment that I think £20 per person is a bit excessive when there is no 'Flying
Display' to accompany it.
I do understand the need to charge a certain amount for this kind of event, but put into proportion against other
'Fly Ins' and shows, it does not in myself and my family's view represent 'value for money'
We have been meaning to come to Kenmble for many years, but after yesterday we all feel annoyed and
dissappointed!
All we would ask is that you let people like us know the entrance price before we are made to look like fools!!

Unfortunately, I do not have any connection as such with the organising of the event, I just help out in the set-up
and run this web site for a bit of fun. (It is not an 'official' PFA site).
The entry prices were advertised on the 'Flying for Fun' web site and I believe (but am not certain as I didn't see
one) they were on the advertising flyer for the event.
There was to be a display (mainly of homebuilt types, and also from the team based at Kemble) on Saturday, but
the very low cloud base on the day made this impossible.
I will post your comments on the site and pass them to the organisers.
Bob
hi im wondering did you manage to get a photo of the mission m106 - microlight version?
thanks,
anthony.
I have hundreds of photos taken by about six different people and have not, at this time sorted through all of
them. If there is a photo of the aircraft in question it will appear on the site in the next few days.
Bob
I was working on security from Friday until Sunday, so i walk miles and really enjoyed the time i was there. I am
now waiting for the next show already. Well done to all the volunteers who without their hard work the event would
not happen.

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
